The Process
The service begins when we put your old wheel or rim in a specially
designed shot chamber that strips the wheel down to the bare metal. Moments after removing the wheel from the shot chamber, our technicians place the wheel in a chemical bath that protects the metal from corrosion. The process ends in
our powdercoating chamber where the wheels are painted and the paint is baked to a durable, attractive finish. Throughout the process, our technicians are constantly on the lookout for conditions that would make your wheels
unserviceable or unsafe.
Protect your investment and reduce your expenses by running refurbished wheels from Piedmont Truck Tires.
Wheel/Rim Refurbishing
Tires are important, but so are rims and wheels. But just like everything else on a truck, wheels and rims can become rusty, dirty, and ugly
with exposure to the everyday hazards of the road. If your rims don’t hold air properly, you run the risk of running underinflated tires. This condition will shorten their life and expose you to the increased risk of a
blowout. With Piedmont Truck Tires wheel and rim refurbishing service, the worries of running old wheels are a thing of the past.
