They Still Know The Real Meaning of Service Bill Forsberg (at Raleigh, NC location) - June 12, 2019 I own and operate a large casket company in Raleigh and have been a customer of your firm for several months. During this time, we have been satisfied with the level of service received until now.
We are changing our opinion from satisfied to amazed due to the actions of one of your employees, Mr. Ken Leute.
In the death care business, you only get one chance to do things right, so the on-time delivery of a casket is ultra-important. We can't afford to let the funeral home down due to a problem in the delivery process with one of our trucks in the fleet. When I called our service contact representative at your firm, Mr. Rick Nilles, to ask for help for one of our vehicles, he said he would dispatch someone who is the best at what he does.
And Rick sent the right person!
Ken arrived ahead of time, identified the electrical problem in our truck's rear lift system and did a temporary "fix", until he could order and install a new circuit board. The amazing part of this already great service was that Ken started and finished during a torrential downpour of rain which left him soaking wet - but never complained about it. Talk about customer service!
In today's marketplace things like this just don't happen much anymore. Our congratulations to you and your company for finding folks like Ken and Rick. They still know the real meaning of service.

Above & Beyond Service Judy Gawrys (at Murfreesboro, TN location) - April 23, 2018 My husband and I were headed out on a 4 day vacation in Indiana, with our travel trailer, to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary. We had only got about 20 miles from home, on I-24, when our camper had a blow out. We had a spare camper tire with us but I didn't feel comfortable having my 69 year old husband changing out the tire on the shoulder of busy I-24. A serviceman came out from Piedmont Tire and provided us with excellent roadside assistance.
After starting out again we only got about 15 miles down the road and had another blow out on the camper. Since we had already used our spare, we didn't have another tire. I contacted Piedmont Tire again and was told that they don't carry travel trailer tires. However, they said that they would send their serviceman to another tire retailer and get us new replacements for all our tires (if we wanted). They went above and beyond getting us additional tires and installing them for us along the road side. I would recommend Piedmont Tire in Murfreesboro, TN to everyone!
Tire Problem Sherry Simmons (at Warsaw location) - February 27, 2018 Had an issue with tire going down on highway near Wilmington. Unfamiliar with the area, but IPhone came up with Piedmont Truck Tire in Warsaw NC. I called and Lisa gave wonderful directions and calmed me from my crisis. Arrived and was taken care of quickly by Mikey and on my way in less than 20 minutes. Wonderful experience.
Fast, Quality Assistance! Mark Lyczkowski (at Raleigh location) - February 1, 2018 We had a puncture on a middle tire of a triple axle trailer on a very cold, snowy day while leaving the parking lot on a critical trip! Piedmont responded to my call with friendly assurance they could help and they came through. Repairman was on site in less than 15 minutes, who does that? AAA has never been that quick in an emergent situation. Professional repair/tire change was done on site and went the extra step and made sure all tires(6) were properly inflated and safe. This is the ONLY service I will use in NC moving forward. Thank you Piedmont Tire.

Excellent Service Rick & Lynne Coble (at Greensboro location) - July 12, 2017 We are the owners of a very small business that services & repairs heavy equipment. We worked for a 100 year old company that was bought out & went out of business in 2010. We started our small business in 2010. On July 12, 2017 while traveling east on I-40, we had a tire blow out on our F550 service truck. Luckily we were close to the Greensboro location. Spoke with Will, who was very helpful & explained to us that the shop was full but he would work us in. After a short wait, he was able to get our truck in the shop & install two new tires. Will gave great customer service that is appreciated very much & is not seen too often these days. It reminded us of the service that was given in the old days.
Excellent Service, Incredible People Rusty Schach (at Asheville location) - December 30, 2016 While on vacation to Asheville, NC, our motorhome had a tire blow out. Upon contacting Piedmont Tire Center, Luke, service tech was sent to our location with a new tire and the best attitude ever. He was helpful, friendly, efficient and on time. As a retired Plant Mgr for Exxon I'm a decent judge of people. John, the Gen Mgr, is very smart about balancing tires, doesn't mind getting his hands dirty and is a good teacher. Chad, the Service Mgr, has a great personality,is a good worker AND is a good leader. Ronnie could use more patience with himself but is a great asset for alignment(and other things) and a good worker. Fritz has a great personality, is a very hard worker and is always looking to help someone. Greg is a worker who tries hard. I think you have a good team and Chad's leadership makes it so.
Owner James Bauman (at Charlotte, NC shop) - July 21, 2015 Went to Charlotte, NC location. I went there because Piedmont is the main Continental Tire dealer in this area; I am switching to Continental because their tires have an extremely low rolling resistance, even according to michelintruck.com (tools; rolling resistance comparison) rolling resistance comparison. For example, Michelin's XZA 3+evertread is rated 100; Bridgestone R283 Ecopia is rated a 105; Continenta EcoPlus HS3 is rated 88. The lower the number; the less rolling resistance. Also, I was able to get the lowest price for the Continental vs Michelin or Bridgestone.
This dealer / shop was impressive. Everyone I dealt with was professional and seemed to appreciate their job, and was in good spirits. They did a good job replacing my tires, and they gave me a very fair price for my casings; better in my experience than other local tire shops
I fully intend to continue business with Piedmont Truck Tires / Charlotte, NC.
Fair, Honest, & Complete Work! Norman Everhart Sr. (at Raleigh, NC shop) - March 2, 2015 I needed 2 new tires for my old 97 Honda Civic. Plus one of my front wheel lug studs needed replacing, preventing a lug nut to go on for the wheel mounting. Mack was very helpful. He had to order the "Michelin Defender" tires from another store (Piedmont doesn't carry Michelin tires). Thanks to Mack, my tires were available that same day for installation on my car. Also, the bad wheel lug stud was tapped and the threads restored. Saving me labor cost and time. The cost for this job was fair and the work was complete and honest!
